University of York Concert Band meet regularly during university term time to practise for our termly concerts.


The band performs three concerts a year near the end of each academic term, details of which can be found on our Events page.

Where?

Rehearsals take place in the Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall in the Music Department.


When?

Every Saturday, Weeks 1-10

4:45pm - 7pm

Directions:

  • From Vanbrugh College, head down the path towards Biology then turn right up towards the Music Department.
  • From University Road, head down Wentworth Way then turn left through the Sally Baldwin buildings until you reach the entrance to the Music Department.
